... For A Stay, Play & Network Day At Sycamore’s Adventure Playground In Dudley
& Participate in Fun Family Yoga & Meditation Sessions Throughout The Day!
While most parents are prepping to send their children back to school In September, many home Ed families are just getting ready to begin another exciting year of inclusive home learning.
… And although there are many more home educated children in the area than we are led to believe, we still have a long way to go to create a sustainable, inclusive network of parents and home Ed service providers to make home learning a smooth and positive experience for all.
This is why we have decided to create an opportunity for home Ed families & and individuals who offer services to to Home Ed families to come together in a relaxed & engaging environment free from Local Authority involvement.
So If you are a home Ed parent or even offer services to home Ed Families the we'd love you to come along For Free!
Bring along your children of any age on the day so they can make friends and play to their hearts content on the adventure playground which includes a giant sandpit, tree houses, slides and so much more… there is also a woodland area where children can roam free and play safely.
We'll also be delivering fun family Yoga & Meditation Sessions Throughout the day...
…And Just before lunch we will light a campfire where the children will be able to toast marshmallows under the supervision of the play workers.
While the children play, we will have parent and child circles, whereby the children will have an opportunity to discuss what the most like about home education to prepare them for the transition back into their home Ed routine.
While the children are having some well deserved play time which also includes taking part in a scavenger hunt and various team building activities, the parents will have an opportunity to form a parent circle whereby they will be able to discuss there biggest successes and challenges around home Education in a safe non judgemental environment, as well as connect with likeminded individuals to network and share best practice.
WHY? BECAUSE THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!
Even though this event is free Sycamore Adventure would appreciate a small donation of £5 per family or buy lunch on the day from the community kitchen.
Sycamore's Adventure Playground is an incredible space, which Is still massively underused by the home ed community... that's why we wanted to host this event!
You are welcome to stay, play, network & practice Yoga for the entire day. If You would like to participate in a FUN Yoga & meditation Practice which will be delivered at various times throughout the day. Please Bring a mat along with you and plenty of water.

Who Are We?
Well in all honestly we are a bunch of home ed momma's who want our children to explore, create, play & thrive so they can become the leaders of the future and create positive change in the world.
We want to empower our children to think for themselves so they can unlock their own unique skills, talents and gifts, growing at the their own pace in a healthy way that works for them.
...and we know that in order for this to happen, home Ed Families need an ALL INCLUSIVE Environment where people of ALL different backgrounds and experiences can come together as ONE without fear of judgment or being held back by bias perspectives.
Thats why we want to create an Inclusive Home Ed Community platform, where EVERYONE is welcome to share, and promote activities and events happening in their local communities that are in the best interests of the children, without rejection or discrimination.
We are creating a space where you can share your Childs progress and be apart of a forum of likeminded people who care, so you never feel like you're alone on this journey.
We understand that we all have different beliefs and values around home learning, but it doesn't mean that we cant come together and share whats working. That way we can be sure that ALL children & their families are aware of the opportunities that they can participate in, which make home Ed life a much smoother, positive experience for all!
